The successful Reflection Room Lead will play a vital role in supporting the school’s behaviour strategy, helping students reflect on their actions, rebuild relationships and successfully reintegrate into lessons.
The Role
As Reflection Room Lead, you will oversee the school’s reflection room provision, ensuring students receive appropriate support, guidance and challenge throughout the school day. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, senior leaders and parents to improve behaviour outcomes and student engagement.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the reflection room.
- Supporting students who have been removed from lessons due to behavioural concerns.
- Facilitating restorative conversations and encouraging positive behaviour choices.
- Monitoring student attendance within the reflection room and maintaining accurate records.
- Working collaboratively with pastoral and safeguarding teams to identify and support vulnerable students.
- Providing students with academic work and ensuring expectations remain high.
- Producing reports and behaviour data to support intervention planning.
- Contributing to whole-school behaviour and inclusion strategies.
