About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the EN3 area of Enfield. This is a part‑time role, ideal for an experienced teacher looking for a better work‑life balance or someone returning to teaching.

You will provide high‑quality PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover across different year groups, delivering engaging lessons that maintain continuity of learning while the class teachers are on release.

Key Responsibilities

Teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to cover teachers during PPA time.
Deliver pre‑planned lessons or adapt plans to suit class needs.
Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with class teachers and senior leaders.
Follow school policies for behaviour, marking and assessment.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching across the primary age range (EYFS–KS2).
Strong classroom management and adaptable teaching style.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Up‑to‑date Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.
