Do you love working with little ones? Milk Education is looking for a fun, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Early Years setting in Stockton-on-Tees! If you love play, creativity, story time, messy activities, outdoor adventures and watching little ones learn something new, this could be the perfect role for you!
You’ll become an important part of the nursery team, helping create a happy, exciting and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to be themselves.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Get involved in fun, creative and play-based activities that keep little minds curious.
- Support children with their communication, language and social development.
- Encourage children to build confidence and become more independent.
- Join in with stories, games, arts and crafts, outdoor play and learning activities.
- Build positive relationships and become a trusted, familiar face for the children.
- Work alongside the nursery team to support daily routines and activities.
- Help create a safe, positive and inclusive environment for every child.
- Support personal care and toileting where required.
- Celebrate children’s achievements – big and small!
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Fun, friendly and full of energy!
- Patient, caring and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
- Confident getting involved in activities and not afraid to get a little messy!
- A great communicator who enjoys being part of a team.
- Experienced working with children in a nursery, school, childcare, community or similar setting – desirable but not essential.
- Qualified in Early Years or Childcare – desirable, but relevant hands-on experience counts too!
- A graduate or someone with volunteering or placement experience working with children.
