Milk Education is working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Hartlepool that is looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Assistant to join their supportive Early Years team from September 2026.
The Role
As an Early Years Assistant, you will
- Support the Nursery and/or Reception Teacher with day-to-day classroom activities and observations.
- Help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Support children’s learning through play-based activities, small group interventions, and one-to-one support.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care where required.
- Work closely with teaching staff to provide the highest standard of care and education for all pupils.
About You
We’re looking for someone who
- Is caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young children’s learning and development.
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Has a genuine passion for Early Years education.
- Is keen to develop professionally within a supportive school environment.
- Holds relevant childcare or Early Years experience or qualifications (desirable but not essential).
