About the Role – Primary Teacher
Milk Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Durham and surrounding areas. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure flexible work or a longer-term role, starting immediately. You’ll have the chance to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress and make a real impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and monitor pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
