Do you enjoy supporting students in the classroom and helping schools run smoothly? Milk Education is looking for Cover Supervisors to work across schools in the Durham area. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a positive impact on students’ learning while maintaining a calm, structured environment.
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexible supply work)
What You’ll Need:
- Experience working in a school or classroom environment
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and support pupils across different subjects and year groups
- Professional, proactive attitude and commitment to student wellbeing
- Ability to provide two recent references
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher
- Ensure a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
- Support students with tasks and activities as directed
- Maintain behaviour standards and follow school policies
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity for learners
