Milk Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about bringing Science to life and encouraging students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that motivate students and support strong academic progress. This full-time position is available from September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that challenge and engage students of varying abilities.
- Inspire a passion for learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics topics within the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing.
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate student progress, implementing targeted support where required.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations, ensuring they reach their full potential.
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.
- Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities related to Science.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education.
