Milk Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Doncaster for a passionate and motivated PE Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging participation in sport and physical activity while promoting healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and personal development.
The Role
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that help students develop their practical skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for physical education. You will play a key role in supporting students’ physical wellbeing and fostering a positive attitude towards sport and exercise.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring student progress to ensure positive outcomes
- Encouraging participation, teamwork, leadership, and resilience through sport
- Supporting students in developing healthy habits and lifelong enjoyment of physical activity
- Contributing to extracurricular activities, clubs, fixtures, and school sporting events
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school improvement
- Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and professional practice
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education
