Are you a passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Doncaster?

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive secondary school seeking a talented History Teacher to join their successful Humanities department. This full‑time role is available for an immediate start or from September and offers the opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of historical events and their impact on the modern world.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • Monitor, assess and track student progress

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for students

  • Uphold the values and standards of both the school and Milk Education

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Has experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills

  • Builds positive relationships with students, staff and parents

  • Is committed to raising achievement and promoting a love of learning

  • Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one through Milk Education
