Are you completing your PGCE or QTS this year and looking to gain valuable paid classroom experience before securing your first ECT role? Milk Education is working closely with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Doncaster who are looking for enthusiastic future ECTs to join them before the new academic year. This is an excellent opportunity to put your training into practice, build confidence in the classroom and gain experience across a range of year groups while earning competitive daily pay.

Whether you’re looking for short-term work after your final placement or hoping to secure a long-term position leading into September, we’d love to help you find the right school.

  • Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Start: Flexible start dates to suit the end of your university placements
  • Contract: Flexible supply, short-term and long-term opportunities available

Your Role:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • Support pupils’ learning and development in line with the National Curriculum and EYFS Framework.
  • Work alongside experienced teachers to develop your classroom practice.
  • Build confidence with behaviour management and classroom organisation.
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Gain experience across different schools and year groups to discover the setting that’s right for you.
