This role will initially begin on a supply basis through Milk Education, allowing both the candidate and school to ensure the role is the right fit. The Role

As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and locking the school premises daily
  • Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
  • Ensuring the school grounds are clean, tidy, and safe
  • Conducting health & safety checks around the site
  • Assisting with deliveries, furniture moving, and room setups
  • Monitoring heating, lighting, and alarm systems
  • Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
  • Supporting the school during events and emergencies where required
  • Maintaining high standards of site security and cleanliness at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous caretaking, maintenance, facilities, or site management experience
