Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for flexible work in Kirklees Primary Schools? The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Provide targeted intervention sessions in subjects such as English, Maths and Phonics to raise pupil attainment.
• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with SEND, EAL and additional learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Help maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment while promoting excellent behaviour for learning.

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA Status or a recognised Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience working at HLTA level).
• Previous experience working within a UK Primary School.
• Confidence delivering whole-class lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Experience delivering interventions and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND, is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• The Right to Work in the UK.
