As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils throughout their learning journey.
You’ll work closely with class teachers to provide one-to-one and small group support, helping children build confidence, develop key skills and reach their full potential.
- Main Responsibilities
- Encourage independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills.
- Provide one-to-one and small group learning support.
- Inspire children to engage positively in lessons.
- Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain safeguarding, confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education or a related subject (preferred), or equivalent practical experience.
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning.
- Patience, adaptability and a calm approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Recent experience working within a school or educational setting (preferred).
