We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic graduate to join our graduate programme, partnering with a warm and inclusive SEND provision in Newcastle, where you'll play a key role in supporting and inspiring young learners. Join our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond.

The provision caters for children aged 3-19 with additional needs including complex and multiple learning disabilities and difficulties, speech, language and communication needs, physical and sensory needs.

Creative Graduate Role & Responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • Contribute to developing a creative curriculum where creative learning opportunities are available for all pupils
  • Support pupils in small groups and on a one-to-one basis whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Non-negotiables:

  • Must have obtained a 2:2 or above in degree
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in one or more creative subjects (Music, Drama, Sports, Art, Creative Writing, Psychology)
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher and as part of a wider team
