Milk Education are working with a number of welcoming secondary schools in Redbridge who are seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisors to support on a flexible basis. This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking for varied and rewarding work within the classroom.

You will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task and continue their learning in a calm and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain engaged and on task
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide support to students where needed to keep learning on track
  • Report any issues or concerns to teaching staff or senior leaders
  • Contribute to a positive and productive learning environment

  • Confident managing groups of secondary-aged students
  • Calm, resilient, and able to build quick rapport with young people
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
