Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a specialist education provider local to the school to work on a long-term basis starting immediately!

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role
- Supporting children with SEND and complex SEMH needs in small classroom environments
- Working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans (EHCPs)
- Assisting with robust behaviour management, using positive de‑escalation strategies
- Promoting student well‑being, emotional regulation, and vital social skills
Essential Qualifications
- Must have recent and relevant experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behaviour
- Experience or strong background in coaching, sports leadership, or youth engagement is highly desirable
- Must possess good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- Must have the ability to adapt to distinct learning needs and work under the guidance of the class team
