Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Primary SEN Teacher to join a Specialist SEND/SEMH School in Congleton to work on a full-time basis starting in September 2026! You’ll be joining an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive school focused on changing children’s lives for the better. Using a specialised "Turning the Curve" model, the school creates inclusive environments where pupils are helped to overcome barriers to learning and build a more positive future at a pace that works for them.

This is an exciting role for a qualified educator to deliver meaningful, well-planned learning that places relationships, emotional safety, and progress at its heart! We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in phonics to work primarily with primary level pupils.

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across core subjects, tailored to individual needs
  • Working with Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to support both academic and personal development
  • Contributing to EHCP reviews and PEP meetings with clear leadership guidance
  • Creating a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment while working closely with teaching assistants and families

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
  • Proven experience teaching primary level across a range of subjects and a strong understanding of SEND/SEMH
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching phonics using inclusive teaching and behaviour-support strategies
  • A calm, relationship-focused approach with a clear commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
