We’re currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Liverpool on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs
- Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
- Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
- Helping students regulate emotions, build resilience, and re-engage with education
- Using restorative practices to encourage positive behaviour
- Working alongside therapists and staff in a holistic, trauma-informed environment
Requirements or Skills:
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting
- Solid numeracy and literacy skills
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
