SEN Teaching Assistant – Make a Real Difference Every Day
Location – Chertsey, Surrey
Join MILK Education and support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Working one-to-one and in small groups, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment tailored to each pupil’s needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small group settings
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering personalised learning plans
- Encouraging development of communication, social, and life skills
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage positively in learning
- Supporting daily routines including breaktimes, activities, and school trips
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support progress
