We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children with SEN in SEND schools on a full-time basis, starting ASAP!
What does a SEN Teaching Assistant do?
- Supporting students with additional needs and disabilities on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs.
- Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support.
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey.
What will you need for this SEN Teaching Assistant job?
- Based within Greater Manchester.
- Clear desire to work with children and young people.
- Previous experience working with children and young people with SEN would be beneficial, but not essential. This experience could be within schools, care, fostering, tutoring, coaching for example.
- Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school.
