Primary Teaching Assistant - Bury
Milk Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Bury from September.
This role is ideal for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering teacher training, or anyone with transferable experience working with children.
Working alongside class teachers, you'll support pupils' learning, provide one-to-one and small group interventions, encourage confidence and independence, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Provide one-to-one and small group learning support
- Deliver interventions in phonics, literacy and numeracy
- Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
- Helping prepare classroom resources and maintain a safe learning environment
- We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience working with children (school, nursery, childcare, tutoring, coaching or similar β desirable
- Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development
- Has excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Works well as part of a team
- Holds a relevant qualification or degree (desirable, not essential)
