We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and inclusive Primary Schools in Bury, with opportunities available for immediate starts and from September. This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for flexible work while making a positive impact across a variety of school settings. As a Primary Supply Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure continuity of learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
- Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Adapting teaching to meet the needs of all pupils
- Marking work where required and providing feedback for the class teacher
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, adaptable and positive approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- An up‑to‑date knowledge of safeguarding requirements
