Cover Supervisors to work across a range of Primary schools in Bradford from September.
Our partner schools are looking for adaptable education professionals who can confidently lead classes, manage behaviour, and ensure pupils remain engaged with their learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, HLTA-level staff, graduates, or individuals with strong classroom experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity in Primary education.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities across a range of subjects.
- Lead whole-class learning and ensure pupils remain engaged and focused.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school policies.
- Support pupils with their learning and provide additional guidance where required.
- Follow lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are met.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils and school staff.
- Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Adapt your approach to support different learning needs and abilities.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and productive classroom environment.
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
About You
- Confident, calm, and professional with strong classroom management skills.
- Previous UK school or classroom experience is desirable.
- Experience working as a Cover Supervisor, HLTA, Teaching Assistant, Teacher, or in a similar education role.
- Able to confidently lead a class and manage behaviour independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to work across different Primary school environments.
- Passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Available to work full-time from September.
- A relevant qualification in Education, Childcare, or a related subject is advantageous but not essential.
