Milk Education is working with welcoming primary schools across Leeds who are seeking enthusiastic and confident graduates to work as Teaching Assistants. Hours & Contract

  • Monday–Friday, 08:30–15:30
  • Full-time roles available
  • Short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities
  • Competitive daily pay (paid weekly)

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support
  • Assist with literacy, numeracy, and creative classroom activities
  • Encourage pupil confidence, participation, and positive behaviour
  • Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Support with classroom preparation and learning resources

What We’re Looking For

  • A Drama or Performing Arts degree (2:2 or above)
  • Strong communication and confidence working with young people
  • A proactive, energetic, and reliable approach
  • A genuine interest in education
  • Experience with children (theatre groups, camps, coaching, tutoring) is beneficial but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
