Milk Education is working with a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a mainstream environment.

About the Role

  • Location: North Tyneside
  • Salary: £101.40 to £105 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:45 pm (term time only)
  • Start Date: ASAP

You will be supporting pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH. The role involves helping children access learning, regulating emotions, developing confidence, and building positive relationships within the classroom.

This position provides practical experience that is valued by postgraduate pathways in Clinical Psychology, Art Therapy, and other therapeutic professions.

Training and CPD

  • Free CPD including Makaton, PECS, Autism Awareness, behaviour and de-escalation training, and trauma informed practice.
