Are you able to differentiate your teaching to create engaging yet challenging lessons that are pitched just at the right level for each individual? We are looking for a Lower Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher for a long-term position beginning from January 2026. This Primary Teacher position requires 5 full days of work every week, Monday through to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. This cover will be required for 2 Terms.

Non-negotiables:

  • The ability to deliver the National Curriculum across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • To develop positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Provide a safe environment for the pupils, enabling growth in social and learning development.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work.
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking work, setting home working tasks.
  • Experience of managing behaviour and supporting children with SEN.
  • Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons.
