Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse children and young people? We’re recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant, specialist primary SEN school supporting pupils in KS1, KS2 and KS3 with Autism. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand. You’ll be joining a supportive, inclusive school that puts wellbeing and community at the centre of everything they do. What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting pupils with autism and complex needs in the classroom and beyond
- Implementing tailored strategies to promote engagement, regulation, and learning
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support
- Building trusted relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
What we’re looking for:
- Proven SEN experience, ideally in autism-specialist or complex needs settings
- Strong classroom experience across early years, primary or secondary
- Confidence managing behaviours with empathy and structure
- A calm, resilient, and proactive approach to support
