Liverpool Head Office

Have you built a successful recruitment career and are ready for your next challenge?

Perhaps you've spent years building desks, developing clients and consistently billing, but the part of recruitment you've always enjoyed most is training others, sharing your knowledge and seeing people succeed.

At Milk Education, we're looking for an experienced recruiter who understands what it takes to succeed in an agency environment and is passionate about helping develop the next generation of recruitment consultants.

If you're ready to step away from running your own desk and into a role where you can share your experience, develop others and make a wider impact across the business, we'd love to hear from you.

About Milk Education

At Milk Education, we specialise in recruiting Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Early Years professionals into schools across the UK.

We're proudly independent, purpose-driven and growing at an exciting pace, with nine offices nationwide and ambitious plans for further expansion.

As we continue to grow, investing in our people has never been more important.

That's where you come in.

Reporting directly to our Learning & Development Manager, you'll become an integral part of our Learning & Development team, helping to train and develop consultants at every stage of their recruitment journey β€” from brand-new trainees taking their first steps in recruitment to experienced consultants looking to take their performance to the next level.

Your role won't simply be about delivering training sessions. You'll train, coach, mentor, challenge and inspire our people to become the best recruiters they can be.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging recruitment induction training to give every new starter the best possible foundation.
  • Train consultants across the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, including candidate generation, interviewing, business development and account management.
  • Support new consultants throughout their first three months, building confidence, capability and consistency.
  • Deliver one-to-one coaching, desk-side mentoring and interactive training workshops.
  • Work closely with Branch Managers to identify development opportunities and create tailored training plans.
  • Monitor KPIs, quality standards and performance, using data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Carry out quality audits and ensure recruitment best practice is consistently embedded across the business.
  • Deliver development sessions for experienced consultants to improve performance, productivity and commercial results.
  • Provide constructive feedback and practical support to help consultants overcome challenges.
  • Share your own recruitment experience, knowledge and proven techniques with consultants across the business.
  • Help create a culture where continuous learning, development and high performance are part of everyday life.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys developing people.

You'll probably be the person in your branch who colleagues naturally go to for advice β€” someone who enjoys sharing ideas, helping others overcome challenges and celebrating other people's success.

You'll have:

  • A proven track record of building and developing a successful recruitment desk, ideally within education recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of the full 360 recruitment process.
  • A genuine passion for training, development and helping others succeed.
  • The confidence and presence to deliver engaging training sessions to groups.
  • Strong communication, presentation and coaching skills.
  • Natural credibility and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt your approach to different personalities and learning styles.
  • A positive, energetic approach that motivates and inspires others.
  • The confidence to challenge behaviours and provide honest, constructive feedback.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A strong understanding of recruitment KPIs, performance management and best practice.
  • A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel between our branches.

Why Join Milk Education?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take everything you've learned throughout your recruitment career and use it to develop the people who will shape the future of our business.

Instead of building one successful desk, you'll help build successful recruiters.

You'll have the opportunity to influence careers, develop future leaders and play a key role in creating a high-performing recruitment culture across our growing national business.

If you're an experienced recruiter who is ready to take your knowledge beyond your own desk and help others become exceptional recruiters, we'd love to hear from you.
