  • Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School based in

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children, building positive relationships, and becoming a familiar and trusted face within a school that values consistency and stability.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about helping pupils thrive and enjoys creating a calm, positive and supportive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor behaviour in the classroom and encourage positive conduct
  • Support pupils in developing communication, independence and self-management skills
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to learners where needed
  • Encourage and motivate children to engage positively and consistently with their lessons
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Always maintain safeguarding and confidentiality, in line with school policies

Requirements & Skills

  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and development
  • A patient, calm and consistent approach when supporting pupils
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or a related field, or equivalent hand-on experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
  • The ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a
