Autism Teaching Assistant – Full Time

The Role
We’re recruiting a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school team in either L27 or L5. You’ll work closely with pupils aged 5–16 with autism and complex needs, supporting their learning, emotional regulation, and social development. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, nurturing environment and is confident delivering 1:1 and small group interventions.

Proven experience supporting children with SEND, particularly autism
Strong understanding of sensory needs, communication strategies, and positive behaviour support
Ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to individual pupil profiles

Experience in school, care, or community settings with neurodiverse children
