Milk Education is looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting pupils within welcoming primary schools.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing personalised support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs.
- Help pupils access learning through engaging and differentiated activities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage confidence and independence.
- Support children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, and challenging behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to implement personalised support plans.
- Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a school, nursery, care or youth work setting is desirable.
- A patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
