Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Sheffield to work on a long-term or short-term basis starting as soon as possible! You’ll be joining an inclusive primary school, who has a fantastic team of staff who work closely together to ensure children are achieving excellence within their learning and children who are eager to learn. This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!

Job Specification

  • Help the class teacher plan, prepare and carry out lessons tailored in line with the primary curriculum.
  • Support individuals who have need academic support and/or have SEN.
  • Track and report pupils progress and report back to SLT/parents/carers.
  • Deliver catch up sessions/take out small groups to focus on core subjects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting.
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience.
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
