Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (MLD Provision)Location: ErithContract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term (Agency Position)Start Date: ASAPSalary: £101.40 – £110 per day
About the Role:We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Erith, supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with MLD within the mainstream classroom and small-group settings.

Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored learning plans.

Promote engagement, confidence, and independence among pupils.

Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and learning styles.

Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural support as required.

Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (MLD experience desirable).

Patient, positive, and resilient attitude.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils and staff.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN experience, or equivalent).
