Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (MLD Provision)Location: ErithContract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term (Agency Position)Start Date: ASAPSalary: £101.40 – £110 per day

About the Role:We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Erith, supporting pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with MLD within the mainstream classroom and small-group settings.

  • Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to deliver tailored learning plans.

  • Promote engagement, confidence, and independence among pupils.

  • Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and learning styles.

  • Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural support as required.

  • Contribute to creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (MLD experience desirable).

  • Patient, positive, and resilient attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN experience, or equivalent).
