The Role of a Secondary Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with Maths departments and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards qualification (ECTs welcome)
- Degree in Mathematics or related subject
