Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? Milk Education are working on behalf of a welcoming primary school in North Tyneside to recruit a full-time KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The Role:

  • Supporting children across Key Stage 1, both in class and with small group work.

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management.

  • Providing tailored support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment.

The School is looking for someone who:

  • Has recent experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting.

  • Demonstrates patience, flexibility and a caring nature.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children in the last two years (school, nursery, or care setting).
