Are you passionate about education and ready to make a real impact in secondary schools? Milk Education is looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant team and work in a school in Haydock.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom to maintain continuity of education during teacher absences. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with a strong interest in secondary education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes across the secondary age range (Key Stages 3 and 4)
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students stay on task with the work set
- Supporting students in their learning while following the lesson plan provided
- Reporting back to teaching staff and school leaders on student progress and conduct
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people (in education or similar settings)
- Is confident managing a classroom and engaging students
- Can quickly build rapport and adapt to different school environments
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Holds a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one)
