Milk Education have partnered with a primary school in Gosforth to help them appoint 2 motivated, hard working and child-centred Breakfast and After School Club Leaders to come and work in their wonderful school as part of their brand new wraparound provision opening in September.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate their commitment to working as part of an effective and cohesive team who all want the very best for their children and families. As with all members of staff, the successful candidate will actively endorse and deliver the vision of our school, which is centred around giving pupils ‘Roots to Grow and Wings to Fly’, as well as supporting all school values.

We are looking for a skilled and effective practitioner with passion, enthusiasm and energy who:

  • Is creative and proactive
  • Is flexible and can use their initiative to meet the needs of the children and the demands of the provision
  • Is an inclusive practitioner with ambitious standards
  • Is well organised and highly motivated
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both children and families and enjoys working as part of a team

The following criteria (experience, skills and qualifications) will be used to short-list at the application stage:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 EYFS qualification
  • Experience of effectively supporting pupils in an EYFS/KS1 learning environment
  • Have up to date experience of supporting and developing learning for EYFS/KS1
  • Experience of classroom organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
