Job summary
We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (Mo D), at Lichfield Medical Centre, in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
This is a locum role (18.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the Mo D service personnel.
- Pay rates
- PAYE £60.10 per hour
- Self-employed £69.12 per hour
Job Description
- Undertake Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for Military and entitled personnel.
- Examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness for work assessments within the locum doctor's scope of experience and qualification.
- Inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson's ability to undertake duties.
- Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
- Attend individual management reviews or case conferences with PHC and/or line management as required.
Essential requirements / Qualifications / Experience
- Registration with the General Medical Council both on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without restrictions.
- Current satisfactory annual appraisal in line with GMC Good Medical Practice.
- Certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to Level 3.
- On the UK NHS Performers List and able to provide an NHS Performer number.
