We are looking for a Locum Dental Practitioner/Locum Dentist to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at HMS Raleigh Dental Centre, in Torpoint, Cornwall. This is a locum role (37.5 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Pay rates:

  • PAYE – £48.68 per hour
  • Self‑employed – £55.98 per hour

Job description:

To work independently and to provide both a full range of dental treatment to maintain oral health and to undertake related general administrative duties where required to work towards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness of personnel for whom they are providing care for. To assist the Senior Dental Officer (SDO), when present, or operate independently to achieve dental fitness targets, for all entitled personnel, as detailed in the SG Policy and Standards Document.
