- Contributing to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement
- Participating in team meetings, professional development and reflective practice

- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to identify priorities and take initiative within the room
- A professional, reliable and positive approach to your role
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications as required for the role
What We Are Looking For
We are not simply looking for someone to hold the title of Room Leader. We are looking for an educator who takes genuine ownership of their room. You should be someone who notices when something needs to be done and takes action, supports educators rather than simply directing them, communicates openly with management and takes pride in creating a high-quality environment for children. You will be expected to lead by example and be actively involved on the floor with your team.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Warm and nurturing with children
- Confident and approachable with families
- Supportive but accountable when leading educators
- Organised and reliable
- Proactive rather than reactive
- Passionate about children's learning and development
- Committed to maintaining high standards
- Open to feedback and continuous professional development
- A genuine team player
