Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering a variety of HV and utilities schemes. Work is well underway and they have instructed Milford RES to source an established site manager to oversee the works in the Inverness area. The successful applicant will be acting in a leadership role, working on a National Grid infrastructure framework. You will also be responsible for working with supply chain and design teams to execute project milestones, to programme and budget.
To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:
- Experienced site manager with extensive experience working in the utilities sector
- DNO / IDNO experience is also highly beneficial
- You must be familiar with design processes and able to interpret design schematics
- Whilst this is not a commissioning role you must be familiar with testing and commissioning processes
- You must be familiar with legal processes such as wayleaves, easements and land access
- SMSTS is essential
- Applicants must be autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders
- You must be based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK
- You must be based a commutable distance from Inverness
