Milford RES are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading energy contractor operating across Scotland. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to support major energy and infrastructure projects nationwide.
This is a predominantly site-based role, offering the opportunity to work on high-profile construction projects within the energy sector.
The Role
As Environmental Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance across multiple construction sites. You will work closely with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders to promote best practice and maintain the highest environmental standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing environmental guidance and support to site management teams
- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, planning conditions, and company policies
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and reporting
- Supporting environmental incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
- Liaising with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders
- Assisting in the delivery of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs)
About You
To be considered, you must have:
- Proven experience working on construction projects (essential)
- Previous experience in an Environmental Advisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirements in Scotland
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel extensively across Scotland
