Milford RES is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering consultancy specialising in overhead lines (OHL), substations and power cable projects across the UK.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced Principal CAD Technician to join their expanding technical team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior CAD professional to take a leading role in the delivery of major transmission and distribution projects while working fully remotely from anywhere in the UK.
The Role
As a Principal CAD Technician, you will lead the production and coordination of high-quality engineering drawings for a range of OHL, substation and cabling schemes.
Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will provide technical leadership, maintain CAD standards and support the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction.
