The Opportunity
Milford RES is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of major gas infrastructure schemes on the Norfolk coast. This is a high-profile project environment requiring a strong delivery-focused Project Manager with proven experience working within the National Gas network and on projects subject to COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) requirements. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of complex infrastructure works, coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and project disciplines from site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of major gas infrastructure projects.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, risks and delivery milestones.
- Provide strong leadership across contractors, engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, to specification, on programme and within budget.
- Manage interfaces between construction, engineering, operations and other project disciplines.
- Maintain robust governance, reporting and project controls.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Work closely with operational and client stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Drive a strong safety culture across the project team and supply chain.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering major gas infrastructure schemes.
- National Gas experience.
- Demonstrable COMAH experience.
- Strong experience managing complex, high-risk infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to manage contractors, multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project governance, programme management, cost control and risk management.
- A strong health, safety and environmental focus.
