The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering a variety of HV and EHV schemes in the EV charging market. Work is well underway and they have instructed Milford RES to source an established project manager to oversee the works in sites nationally.

The successful applicant will be acting in a leadership role, working closely with ICPs, DNOs and IDNOs to oversee HV connection of charging systems to the grid. You will also be responsible for working with supply chain and design teams to execute project milestones, to programme and budget.

To apply for this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experienced project manager with extensive experience working for ICPs
  • DNO / IDNO experience is also essential
  • You must have proven experience delivering infrastructure construction including HV and substation build up to 33kv
  • You must be familiar with design processes and able to interpret design schematics
  • Whilst this is not a commissioning role you must be familiar with testing and commissioning processes
  • You must be familiar with legal processes such as wayleaves, easements and land access
  • Ideally you will be degree qualified in electrical engineering
  • Applicants must be autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders
  • You must be based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK
  • Applicants must have a full driving license
  • Ideally applicants will be based in the Midlands, but applications are welcome from anyone with a relevant skillset based anywhere in the UK
