Female Support Worker – Days & Nights
Location: Stockton-on-Tees, TS20
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Hours: Full Time & Part Time Available
Are you a caring, reliable, and motivated individual looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Beechwood House in Norton Village, Stockton-on-Tees.
You must be flexible to work a rota that includes both days and nights, Monday through Sunday.
About Beechwood House
Beechwood House is an attractive detached residential care home situated in Norton Village, Stockton-on-Tees. The home consists of five single occupancy en-suite bedrooms, all located on the ground floor around a central hallway.
The service offers:
- A spacious communal lounge and kitchen
- A dedicated activity lounge for social events and private visits
- A large enclosed garden with outdoor seating and activities
- A welcoming and homely environment supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
Residents are supported 24 hours a day to develop independence, daily living skills, and access their local community.
The home is conveniently located near shops, cafés, restaurants, places of worship, and public transport routes connecting Stockton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Newcastle, Billingham, and Hartlepool.

Our Ideal Support Worker
We are looking for individuals who are:
- Reliable, friendly, and caring
- Confident supporting activities, hobbies, and community engagement
- Encouraging, attentive, and positive
- Experienced in a Support Worker or care role (preferred)
- Confident administering medication
- Holders of a full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities
Duties may include:
- Monitoring, recording, and administering medication
- Supporting with personal care and mobility
- Assisting with shopping and meal preparation
- Light household duties
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting residents to achieve independence and personal goals
