We’re looking for an experienced Senior Asset Manager to join our team in London . You’ll be part of a young, dynamic team. You’ll report to our Regional Director - London & South East as we build and consolidate our position as the market leader in last-mile real estate.
As a Senior Asset Manager, you’ll join an existing team that manages a diverse logistics and industrial portfolio across London & the South East region. You’ll be responsible for asset management strategy, lease management and property management. You’ll be working with internal stakeholders and external consultants to deliver the best returns possible on your portfolio. There is huge value-add potential in the existing stock, with plenty of development potential for a candidate who has the right mix of creativity, determination and the flexibility to work in a start-up-style leadership environment.

What you’ll do
Own the asset management strategy for a complex and/or high-value portfolio, identifying opportunities to optimise performance and create value.
Lead annual business planning for your portfolio, including lease, capex and opex assumptions, refurbishments, extensions and redevelopment opportunities.
Carry out financial analysis, prepare property budgets and reports, and underwrite asset management reports.
Monitor asset-level risks and proactively identify and escalat e potential issues within your portfolio.
Share your expertise with other Asset Managers, providing guidance and mentoring to support their development.
Leasing & Customer Management
Manage lettings, renewals, rent reviews and lease surrenders, including negotiating and approving commercial terms.
Build strong relationships with occupiers, understand their business requirements and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement.
Develop productive relationships with local and national advisers, helping ensure Mileway remains a preferred business partner.
Asset Improvement & Development
Work closely with Construction and Project Management to ensure major capex items and (re)development projects are delivered to plan.
Partner with Development and Finance to assess, plan and monitor refurbishments, extensions and redevelopment initiatives.
What you’ll bring
+5 years’ relevant experience in asset management and MRICS status.
Experience supporting a large, complex or high-value portfolio independently, ideally in logistics or light industrial real estate
Strong communication skills and a high level of fluency in English
Your great team energy. You’re a hands-on self-starter who works confidently and independently, whilst also collaborating well with others.
You’re used to working in a fast-paced, professional environment, have an excellent track record and can demonstrate how and where you’ve added value.
You have a genuine interest in real estate and the transformation of the last-mile sector. You’ll get to know the local sub-market and tenants and be able to spot and act on opportunities.
Your head for numbers. You’ll be able to digitise and track data. You’ll have great analytical, financial, and negotiating skills.
