We are offering a 1-year fixed-term contract, open to candidates based in the London Area and the Midlands.
We are seeking a Property Management Oversight Manager to join the UK Property Management team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. Reporting directly to the Head of Property Management UK, this role will support the delivery of key oversight, governance and operational improvement initiatives across the UK portfolio. This is a project-focused role, designed to strengthen consistency, governance and operational performance across the Property Management function. The successful candidate will work across multiple stakeholders and managing agents to support strategic priorities, improve processes and enhance portfolio oversight. This position is not a traditional day-to-day property management role. Instead, it focuses on oversight, coordination, governance and continuous improvement across a large commercial property portfolio. You’ll be based at our London City office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week.
What you will do
- Strategic & Project Support
- Partner closely with the Head of Property Management UK on key strategic initiatives and operational priorities
- Lead and deliver defined oversight and improvement projects with agreed timelines and deliverables
- Provide structured reporting, analysis and recommendations to support decision-making
- Support cross-functional collaboration across Property Management, Asset Management and other internal stakeholders
- Property Management Oversight
- Provide central oversight across UK property management activities
- Support the consistent implementation of PM policies, procedures and governance standards
- Assist in resolving operational issues requiring escalation or coordination
- Support assurance and control activities relating to service charge, arrears and operational performance
- External Managing Agent Oversight
- Support monitoring and review of external managing agent performance
- Assist with agent-related projects, including operating model reviews and scope optimization
- Help drive consistency, quality and timeliness of managing agent outputs
- Support stronger collaboration and accountability between managing agents and internal teams
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, consistency and governance
- Support the development and implementation of standardized PM processes and workflows
- Assist in creating operational guidance, templates and best practice tools
- Support change management and embedding of improved ways of working
- Data, Systems & Reporting
- Support improvements in data quality and portfolio oversight within core systems such as Yardi
- Assist with reporting, reconciliations and audit readiness initiatives
- Help establish clearer visibility of operational performance metrics and reporting standards
What you will bring
- +3 years of experience within UK industrial property management
- Experience within industrial and logistics real estate portfolios
- Experience in property management oversight, governance or central operations functions
- Proven ability to deliver project-based work within complex operational environments
- Experience working with and overseeing external managing agents
- Good understanding of service charge management, arrears and operational property management activities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Exposure to PMO, operational excellence or transformation initiatives
- Experience supporting senior leadership stakeholders directly
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Delivery-focused and comfortable operating in a project-based environment
- Pragmatic, proactive and solution-oriented
- Able to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and priorities
