Join our Leeds team as an Asset Manager and help strengthen Mileway’s position as Europe’s leader in last-mile logistics real estate.

You will shape and execute the asset management strategy for a portfolio of properties—accelerating leasing activity, strengthening financial performance and unlocking opportunities for long-term value creation.

Partnering with colleagues across Asset Management, Property Management, Development and Finance, you will turn regional business plans into results while building trusted relationships with occupiers, advisers and other stakeholders.

You’ll be based at our

Leeds office. While we embrace a flexible approach to work, our policy requires working from the office three days a week.

What you'll do

  • Take ownership of the asset management strategy and business plans for an allocated portfolio, ensuring alignment with Mileway’s regional and wider business objectives.
  • Lead leasing activity across the portfolio, including new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, lease restructures, surrenders and associated capital expenditure.
  • Negotiate commercial lease terms and work closely with legal advisors to ensure transactions are documented and completed efficiently.
  • Monitor the operational and financial performance of assets, identifying risks, emerging trends and opportunities to improve returns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise occupancy, rental growth, income security and the long-term value of the portfolio.
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, forecasts, asset business plans and performance reports, providing clear recommendations supported by financial and market analysis.
  • Identify and deliver value-creation initiatives, including refurbishment, redevelopment, extensions and sustainability improvements.
  • Develop effective marketing and leasing strategies for vacant properties, working with internal teams and external agents to generate demand and convert opportunities into completed lettings.
  • Build strong relationships with occupiers, developing a detailed understanding of their operational requirements and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage and maintain effective relationships with regional and national consultants, external property managers, agents, legal advisers and other professional partners.
  • Work closely with the Development and Finance teams to assess investment opportunities and ensure projects are delivered in line with approved business plans, budgets and timelines.
  • Provide timely and accurate portfolio updates to senior stakeholders and contribute to regional performance reviews and decision-making.
  • What you'll bring
  • Relevant professional experience in Asset Management, Commercial Property, Leasing, Valuation or a related real estate discipline.
  • A strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, preferably gained within the industrial and logistics sector.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing leasing transactions, business plans, budgets and asset-level performance.
  • Strong analytical, financial and commercial capabilities, with experience interpreting property data, valuations and financial models.
  • A track record of identifying opportunities, developing clear recommendations and delivering measurable improvements in asset performance.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to manage relationships with occupiers, agents, advisers and internal teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a RICS-accredited discipline or an equivalent relevant qualification.
  • MRICS qualification is required, ideally with 2-5 years post qualification experience
  • A proactive, hands-on and results-oriented approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across the regional portfolio.
