We are looking to recruit a motivated and supportive person to join our friendly team at Teewell Avenue. We are a mental health service based in Staple Hill with capacity to support 7 people. The people who live here enjoy being active members of the community and are often out and about around Bristol and surrounding areas, with some visiting family close by.

Each of the people who live here enjoy doing different things and require varying levels of support so the ability to adapt is crucial. We encourage people to be as independent as possible to retain or progress on their skills and abilities.

Experience in the care sector is not necessary, but we are looking for someone who is kind, approachable, calm in stressful situations and patient, whilst having a positive attitude. Having a humorous side is a bonus too!

To be a driver would be ideal but is not essential.

Our day shifts are 07:00 – 14:30, 09:00 – 16:30, 14:00 – 21:30 and our sleep-in shifts start at 21:00 and then you go to bed at the service at 23:00 and back up ready to start for 7am. We are a 24/7 service so there will be weekends that you will be scheduled to work.

All training will be provided and included in your working hours.

In return we offer excellent, high quality learning opportunities, including the opportunity to undertake a level 3 or 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Alongside this, other benefits include:
